We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will ensure that all plumbing work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. As a licensed professional, you will lead plumbing operations on-site, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with other trades to deliver high-quality results efficiently. Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, gas piping systems, and HVAC components in residential and commercial settings.
• Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute precise plumbing installations.
• Ensure all work adheres to local building codes, plumbing building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding equipment, and other construction tools safely and effectively.
• Conduct maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) tasks on existing plumbing systems to optimize performance and longevity.
• Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for pipe installation, remodeling projects, or construction site setup.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, electricians, HVAC technicians, and other trades to complete projects on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• Valid license as a Journey Plumber with comprehensive knowledge of construction plumbing standards.
• Proven experience in residential plumbing, commercial plumbing, or construction site environments.
• Strong understanding of plumbing system maintenance and repair techniques.
• Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, construction plans, and schematics related to plumbing systems.
• Familiarity with building code compliance including local building codes and safety regulations.
• Experience with welding, pipe threading, gas piping systems installation, and the use of hand tools and power tools.
• Mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus; experience with remodeling or handyman tasks is beneficial.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for measurements and material estimations.
• Excellent customer service skills for interacting professionally with clients during service calls or project work.
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity; willingness to work at heights or in confined spaces as needed.
