Licensed Massage Therapist

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our Med Spa Team. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and develop tailored massage treatment plans.
• Perform various massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, Swedish massage, lymphatic massage is a must, reflexology, hot stone massage and other modalities aimed at pain management and muscle relaxation.
• Educate clients on self-care practices and post-treatment recommendations to optimize results.
• Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, patient progress, and treatment outcomes in compliance with privacy regulations.
• Ensure a safe, comfortable environment by adhering to all health and safety protocols and maintaining proper sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or occupational health teams to support patient recovery and wellness initiatives.
• Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to client concerns, answering questions, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Valid state license as a Massage Therapist with current certification to practice legally.
• Proven experience in patient service, with strong skills in patient assessment and treatment planning.
• Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other advanced massage techniques focused on pain management.
• Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage practices.
• Prior experience working in med spas or occupational health settings is highly desirable.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and address their individual needs.
• Strong understanding of health and safety standards related to massage therapy environments.

Pay: $25.00 - $100.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 per week
