Duties

• Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments tailored to client needs
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate therapy plans and ensure effective pain management
• Educate clients on self-care practices and post-treatment recommendations to support ongoing wellness
• Maintain detailed treatment records while respecting client confidentiality and adhering to medical terminology standards
• Communicate clearly with clients about their treatment goals, progress, and any concerns throughout sessions
• Ensure a safe environment by following proper hygiene protocols and maintaining equipment sanitation
• Stay updated on the latest massage therapy techniques and physiology knowledge to continually improve service quality

Experience

• Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification and CPR certification required
• Proven experience in providing various massage modalities such as Swedish massage, deep tissue, sports massage, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately assess patient needs and tailor treatments effectively
• Experience in patient communication and customer service to foster trust and build lasting client relationships
• Prior work in healthcare or wellness settings demonstrating professionalism and commitment to client well-being
• Ability to handle diverse client needs with empathy, professionalism, and excellent communication skills

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
