Licensed Massage Therapist

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. Experience in lymphatic is preferable, but will train the right canadiate. In this role, you will provide exceptional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health and wellness goals through personalized treatment plans, utilizing advanced techniques and a thorough understanding of human physiology. Responsibilities

• Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to each client’s needs, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.
• Conduct patient assessments to identify areas of tension, pain, or injury, and develop customized treatment plans accordingly.
• Educate clients on self-care practices, occupational health considerations, and injury prevention strategies.
• Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, client progress, and any relevant medical or physiological information.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that adheres to health regulations and industry standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns and provide exceptional customer service throughout each session.
• Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge base.

Experience

• Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification.
• Proven experience in patient service, patient assessment, and delivering various massage modalities such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.
• Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy practice.
• Prior experience working in a medical spa or healthcare setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with pain management techniques and occupational health considerations is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients in a professional manner.

Pay: $50.00 - $175.00 per hour
