Responsibilities

• Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing various techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and medical massage to address individual client needs.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on client history and physiological considerations.
• Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, ensuring compliance with health regulations and privacy standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop integrated pain management strategies when necessary.
• Ensure a safe and hygienic treatment environment by adhering to sanitation protocols and maintaining equipment properly.
• Stay current with industry trends, continuing education opportunities, and certifications such as CPR to enhance professional expertise.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management.
• Proven experience in various massage modalities including Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and medical massage.
• Strong patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and tailor treatments accordingly.
• Excellent customer service skills combined with professionalism in all client interactions.
• Certification as a Licensed Massage Therapist with current CPR certification is required.
