Duties

• Provide professional massage therapy services including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Utilize your knowledge of physiology and anatomy to ensure safe and effective massage techniques.
• Communicate clearly with clients about their treatment goals, progress, and post-session care instructions.
• Maintain detailed documentation of client sessions, including medical terminology and treatment notes.
• Ensure a clean, comfortable environment adhering to health and safety standards; perform sanitation of equipment between sessions.
• Stay current with industry best practices and expand your expertise in pain management, medical terminology, and new massage modalities.

Experience

• Proven experience as a licensed massage therapist with a valid state license or certification.
• Demonstrated proficiency in various massage techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical spa treatments.
• Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, and occupational health principles related to massage therapy.
• Prior experience working with diverse client populations including athletes, prenatal patients, or those seeking pain management solutions is preferred.
• Excellent client communication skills with the ability to assess needs accurately and provide compassionate care.
• Knowledge of CPR certification is required; additional certifications in specialized modalities such as trigger point therapy or sports massage are advantageous.
• Experience working in medical spa environments or wellness clinics is a plus.

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 32.0 per week
