Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and other modalities to address client needs.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns and develop customized treatment plans.
• Maintain clear communication with clients about their treatment progress and address any questions or concerns professionally.
• Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to ensure safe and effective therapy sessions.
• Incorporate pain management strategies and occupational health principles to optimize client outcomes.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols including CPR certification and proper hygiene standards to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Stay current with industry best practices and new techniques to continually enhance your skills and service quality.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification to practice legally.
• Proven experience in massage therapy with proficiency in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, and prenatal massage.
• Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage.
• Excellent client communication skills with the ability to assess individual needs effectively.
• Experience in pain management techniques and occupational health practices is highly desirable.
• CPR certification is required to ensure safety during all sessions.
• A passion for customer service with a commitment to creating a relaxing, professional environment for clients.

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1.0 – 10.0 per week
