We are looking for a professional, personable, and experienced Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to be part of a new concept from the beginning and grow their clientele as ELEVATE grows.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments tailored to individual client needs
• Conduct thorough client assessments to understand their health history, current concerns, and treatment goals
• Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide guidance on self-care practices for ongoing wellness
• Maintain detailed records of each session, including treatment plans and client progress notes
• Ensure a clean, safe, and relaxing environment by adhering to sanitation standards and safety protocols such as CPR certification
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and address any concerns or discomfort during sessions
• Stay informed about the latest developments in massage therapy techniques, physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to enhance treatment efficacy

Skills

• Strong patient service orientation with excellent client communication skills
• Proficiency in various massage modalities including Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and medical massage techniques
• Solid knowledge of human physiology and anatomy relevant to massage therapy practices
• Ability to perform patient assessments accurately and develop customized treatment plans
• Experience with pain management strategies and occupational health considerations
• Familiarity with medical terminology and understanding of medical conditions that may influence treatment approaches
• CPR certification and commitment to maintaining safety standards at all times
• Previous med spa or clinical experience is a plus; experience in customer service is essential for creating positive client interactions

Pay: $35.00 - $37.00 per hour
