Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage tailored to individual client needs
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand symptoms, medical history, and specific areas of concern
• Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing health benefits
• Maintain detailed treatment records while ensuring client confidentiality and compliance with licensing regulations
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their goals and provide clear explanations of treatment plans
• Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and relevant medical terminology to enhance service quality
• Uphold the highest standards of patient service, safety protocols including CPR certification, and occupational health guidelines

Requirements

• Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification in CPR
• Proven experience in massage therapy with proficiency in Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and pain management techniques
• Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to accurately assess patient needs and develop effective treatment plans
• Excellent client communication skills with a focus on customer service and building lasting relationships
• Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and adapt treatments accordingly
• Previous experience working in a med spa or healthcare setting is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage and occupational health practices

Pay: $45.22 - $54.46 per hour
