Duties

• Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments to meet individual client needs.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate therapy approaches and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Utilize your knowledge of physiology and anatomy to identify areas of tension or pain and apply effective massage strategies accordingly.
• Educate clients on self-care practices, pain management techniques, and post-treatment care to support ongoing wellness.
• Maintain detailed documentation of each session, including client progress notes and treatment outcomes, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
• Ensure a safe and comfortable environment by adhering to hygiene standards, CPR protocols, and medical terminology guidelines.
• Foster excellent client communication by listening attentively to concerns, explaining procedures clearly, and building trusting relationships.

Skills

• Proven experience in massage therapy with proficiency in Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments.
• Strong patient service orientation with excellent communication skills to connect effectively with diverse clients.
• In-depth knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and pain management techniques to deliver targeted therapies.
• Ability to perform patient assessments accurately and develop customized treatment plans based on individual needs.
• Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is required to ensure safety during all sessions.
• Prior experience in med spa environments or healthcare settings is highly desirable for understanding medical procedures and client care standards.
• Demonstrated commitment to customer service excellence with a professional approach to client interactions.

Pay: $40.00 - $80.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4.0 – 30.0 per week
