Responsibilities

• Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and develop customized treatment plans.
• Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide guidance on self-care practices for ongoing wellness.
• Maintain detailed records of each session, including client progress and treatment notes, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
• Communicate effectively with clients to ensure comfort, address concerns, and explain treatment procedures clearly.
• Uphold the highest standards of patient service by creating a welcoming environment that promotes relaxation and trust.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including CPR certification and proper sanitation procedures, to ensure client safety at all times.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to accurately assess client needs and target specific muscle groups.
• Proven experience in pain management techniques and understanding of medical terminology related to musculoskeletal health.
• Excellent client communication skills to build rapport and ensure a positive experience for every patient.
• Expertise in various massage modalities such as Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments.
• Ability to perform patient assessments effectively and tailor treatments accordingly.
• Customer service-oriented mindset with a passion for helping others achieve their wellness goals.
• Experience working in medical spa or healthcare settings is preferred; CPR certification is required for safety compliance.
