Licensed Massage Therapist

Job Summary

Vedic Health, an established Ayurvedic wellness clinic in Rockville, MD, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Massage Therapist to join our integrative care team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in therapeutic massage techniques and a commitment to providing excellent care in a holistic, client-centered environment. Familiarity with Ayurveda is a plus but not required.

You will work closely with clients to assess their needs and deliver individualized treatments that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being.

Duties

• Perform a variety of massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and lymphatic drainage.
• Receive additional training in Ayurvedic massage techniques and modalities, and provide these services as part of the center's offerings.
• Conduct thorough client assessments and maintain accurate treatment records.
• Communicate effectively using appropriate medical and anatomical terminology.
• Collaborate with healthcare and wellness professionals as part of an integrative care team.
• Provide exceptional customer service in a calm, welcoming, and supportive environment.
• Maintain high professional and ethical standards, including client confidentiality and proper hygiene protocols.
• Participate in a team-based, integrative care model focused on whole-person wellness and root-cause healing.
• Stay informed about current trends and best practices in massage therapy, pain management, and wellness.

Experience & Qualifications

• Valid Maryland Massage Therapy License.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
• Experience in a med spa, wellness clinic, or healthcare setting preferred.
• Interest or familiarity with Ayurvedic principles and holistic wellness is a bonus, but not required.
• Ability to assess individual client needs and adapt treatment plans accordingly.
