Licensed Massage Therapist

Join our experienced team as a Licensed Massage Therapist and bring wellness, relaxation, and pain relief to our diverse clientele. In this role, you will deliver tailored massage treatments that promote healing, reduce stress, and enhance overall well-being. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health goals through personalized therapy sessions in a welcoming and professional environment. We are committed to supporting your growth and ensuring you have the resources to excel in your craft. The Haven is located on the property of Forrest Hills Resort in the north Georgia mountains. Located just 6 minutes from Amicalola Falls. Most of our guests are on vacation and relaxing although we do have some locals.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, hot stones, salt stones, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage and prenatal massage .
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on individual needs and physiology knowledge.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, explain treatment procedures, and provide post-session care recommendations.
• Ensure a safe environment by following all health and safety protocols.
• Educate clients on self-care practices and pain management strategies to support ongoing wellness outside of sessions.
• 85% of massages are couples massages.
• Hiring for Saturday and Sunday.
• $50 per session plus tip.
• If you have specialized modality you are welcomed to bring it to the Haven

Skills

• Proven experience in massage therapy with expertise in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical spa treatments.
• New graduates welcomed
• Strong guest service skills with the ability to connect empathetically and communicate clearly with diverse clients.
• In-depth knowledge of physiology and anatomy to tailor treatments effectively and safely.
• Ability to perform patient assessments accurately and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage and pain management.
• Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to client care and satisfaction.

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
