Licensed Massage Therapist

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team in a commissioned position, preferably with an existing client base. In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health and wellness goals through personalized treatment plans and professional care. Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments to meet individual client needs.
• Conduct thorough client assessments to understand their health history, current concerns, and treatment goals.
• Educate clients on massage benefits, post-treatment care, and self-care strategies to optimize results.
• Maintain detailed and accurate treatment records while ensuring client confidentiality at all times.
• Communicate effectively with clients to tailor sessions based on their preferences and feedback.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including CPR certification and proper sanitation procedures, to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Stay informed about the latest massage techniques, physiology knowledge, and medical terminology to continually enhance your skills.

Requirements

• Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification.
• Proven experience in massage therapy with expertise in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments.
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology related to pain management and client assessment.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with clients.
• Ability to perform massages safely and effectively while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• CPR certification is required; additional certifications such as medical terminology or med spa experience are a plus.
• Prior experience working in a medical spa or similar healthcare setting is preferred but not required.

Pay: $39.62 - $47.71 per hour

Expected hours: 5.0 – 30.0 per week
