Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments to meet individual client needs.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, current conditions, and treatment goals.
• Communicate effectively with clients to explain treatment plans, address concerns, and ensure comfort throughout sessions.
• Maintain detailed records of each session, including treatment notes and progress updates in compliance with privacy standards.
• Stay informed about the latest massage therapy techniques and industry best practices to continually enhance your skills.
• Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments or referrals when necessary.

Requirements

• Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification.
• Proven experience in various massage modalities such as Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments.
• Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to accurately assess patient needs and tailor treatments accordingly.
• Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse clients.
• Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management.
• Prior experience in med spa or wellness center settings is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends as needed.

Pay: $15.00 - $35.00 per hour
