Job Summary

My name is Holly Farley and I am seeking passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapists to join the new day spa. This is a new business, and comes with that uncertainty. Though I can guarantee that I'll do everything in my power to ensure business exposure. I've been doing massage therapy for 17 years and have already started marketing for the business. I also won't hire more practitioners until everyone feels good about their position.

Commission is 45% while contractors are at 60%. Furthermore, all business specials will be the responsibility of the business and will not come out of your pocket. Job Duties

• Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments to meet individual client needs.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, current symptoms, and treatment goals.
• Educate clients on massage benefits, post-treatment care, and recommended follow-up sessions to enhance their wellness journey.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable treatment environment in accordance with health regulations and professional standards.
• Document each session accurately in client records, noting treatment details and progress for ongoing care.
• Communicate effectively with clients to ensure comfort, address concerns, and tailor treatments accordingly.
• Stay current with industry best practices by participating in continuing education and maintaining certifications such as CPR and relevant licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification.
• Proven experience in massage therapy techniques including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical or occupational health treatments.
• Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to accurately assess client needs and deliver effective treatments.
• Excellent patient communication skills with the ability to explain procedures clearly and empathetically.
• Familiarity with medical terminology related to pain management and injury rehabilitation is preferred.
• Certification in CPR is required; additional certifications such as med spa experience or specialized massage techniques are a plus.
• Demonstrated commitment to customer service excellence and client confidentiality.
