Licensed Massage Therapist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality therapeutic services to our clients, focusing on pain management and overall well-being. You will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, developing personalized treatment plans, and delivering various massage techniques in a professional and relaxing environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment goals.
• Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities tailored to client preferences.
• Utilize knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and occupational health to enhance treatment effectiveness.
• Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and addressing client concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of client treatments and progress, adhering to confidentiality protocols.
• Collaborate with other health professionals within the med spa environment to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy practices for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Valid massage therapy license in accordance with state regulations.
• Strong knowledge of pain management techniques and patient assessment skills.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and physiology is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Experience in a med spa setting is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe working environment for both clients and staff.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $31.55 - $37.03 per hour
