Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and talented Licensed Massage Therapist to join our relaxation team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage therapy services that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for moms in our area. Your expertise in various massage techniques and thorough understanding of human physiology will help clients achieve their health and relaxation goals. Responsibilities

• Provide professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and add on services such as hot stone massage.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to understand individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, explain treatment procedures, and address questions or discomforts promptly. This includes educating clients both pre and post massage for ongoing wellness.
• Maintain records of client treatments, progress notes, and health histories in compliance with privacy regulations.
• Ensure a calming, safe and comfortable environment by adhering to state mandated sanitation standards and safety protocols.
• Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education opportunities to enhance your skills and provide top-tier service.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification.
• Expertise in massage therapy techniques including Swedish massage, deep tissue, prenatal massage, and medical terminology knowledge.
• Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology relevant to pain management and therapeutic massage.
• Experience with patient assessment and client communication to customize treatments effectively.
• Though not required, experience working in spa, wellness, or similar environments is preferred!

Pay: $25.00 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 30.0 per week
