Licensed Massage Therapist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, with the ability to provide therapeutic massage services tailored to individual client needs. Duties

• Perform various types of massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, to alleviate muscle tension and promote relaxation.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on individual needs.
• Utilize knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to communicate effectively with clients and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and in good working condition.
• Provide exceptional patient service by creating a welcoming environment and addressing client concerns or questions regarding treatments.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers in occupational health settings or med spa environments to deliver comprehensive care.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in pain management techniques to enhance service offerings.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Experience in pain management techniques and patient assessment is preferred.
• Familiarity with trigger point therapy and deep tissue massage techniques is highly desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient service and satisfaction.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of massage therapy.
