Responsibilities

• Provide professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and other modalities tailored to client needs
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns, preferences, and treatment goals
• Educate clients on the benefits of various massage techniques and recommend appropriate therapies for pain management or relaxation
• Maintain detailed documentation of each session, including client feedback and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with health regulations
• Communicate clearly with clients about their comfort levels and adjust techniques accordingly to ensure a safe and effective experience
• Uphold the highest standards of patient service by creating a welcoming atmosphere that promotes trust and relaxation
• Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and relevant medical terminology to continually enhance your skills

Requirements

• Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist.
• Proven experience in massage therapy, including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments
• Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to accurately assess patient needs and tailor treatments effectively
• Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain procedures clearly and empathetically
• Prior experience working in a med spa or medical setting is preferred but not required
• Ability to perform detailed patient assessments and manage pain relief strategies confidently
• Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management is advantageous

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
