Duties

• Provide professional massage therapy sessions including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address individual client needs
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and document progress accurately
• Educate clients on self-care techniques and recommend ongoing wellness strategies for pain management and injury prevention
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment area in compliance with health regulations and industry standards
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support comprehensive patient care when necessary
• Stay current with the latest massage techniques, industry trends, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic practices
• Ensure excellent customer service by creating a relaxing environment and addressing client questions or concerns promptly

Experience

• Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification to practice professionally
• Proven experience in providing various massage modalities such as deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and therapeutic massage
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to musculoskeletal health
• Prior experience working in a med spa or occupational health setting is highly desirable
• Demonstrated ability to assess patient needs accurately and develop tailored treatment plans
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and customer satisfaction
• Familiarity with pain management techniques and the ability to adapt treatments based on individual client conditions
