Licensed Massage Therapist

Duties

• Provide a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments tailored to individual client needs
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand symptoms, medical history, and specific pain points
• Educate clients on treatment options, self-care practices, and injury prevention strategies
• Maintain detailed records of each session, including client progress and treatment plans
• Ensure a safe and comfortable environment by adhering to all health and safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns and adjust treatments accordingly
• Stay updated on the latest massage therapy techniques and industry best practices

Requirements

• Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification from an accredited program
• Proven experience in massage therapy with knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
• Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and first aid is required
• Strong patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically
• Familiarity with pain management techniques and occupational health principles
• Ability to perform various massage modalities including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, prenatal, trigger point therapy, and others as needed
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to tailor treatments effectively for diverse client conditions

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
