Duties

• Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, cupping, and graston/scrapping.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, current condition, and specific goals for treatment.
• Educate clients on self-care practices and post-treatment recommendations to enhance ongoing wellness.
• Maintain detailed treatment records, including client progress and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
• Communicate clearly with clients to understand their concerns, explain treatment procedures, and foster a comfortable environment.
• Stay current with industry best practices by participating in continuing education on physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and pain management techniques.

• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management.
• Proficiency in various massage modalities including Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage.
