Role Description

This is a part-time to full-time, on-site role based in New Hope, PA, for a Licensed Massage Therapist. The position involves providing therapeutic massage services to patients, including various techniques tailored to meet individual needs, such as deep tissue, sports, and fascial massage. The therapist will be a part of a comprehensive care team, collaborating with other wellness and physical therapy team members to support individualized care plans.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Therapeutic Massage, Body Massage, and expertise in specialized techniques such as deep tissue, sports, and fascial massage.
• Experience in delivering exceptional Customer Service to ensure client satisfaction and retention
• Proficiency in helping clients with Stress Management techniques to promote relaxation and overall wellness
• Current licensure as a massage therapist in the state of Pennsylvania
• Commitment to professional development and adherence to industry standards and ethics
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform customized massage therapy sessions including deep tissue, sports, and fascial massage, and trigger point therapy to address specific client concerns.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on individual health history and goals.
• Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, patient progress, and any relevant medical terminology or physiology notes.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment by adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Provide excellent customer service by listening attentively, answering questions clearly, and fostering a positive client experience.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to musculoskeletal health.
• Proven experience in patient service with a focus on personalized care.
• Expertise in deep tissue massage techniques and trigger point therapy for effective pain relief.
• Ability to assess patient needs accurately and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Familiarity with occupational health principles and med spa procedures is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining treatment benefits and instructions clearly.

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
