Responsibilities

• Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to target specific areas of discomfort.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns, medical history, and treatment goals.
• Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to develop effective treatment plans tailored to each client.
• Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing pain management or occupational health needs.
• Maintain detailed documentation of treatments provided, patient responses, and progress notes in compliance with health regulations.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment by adhering to sanitation standards and clinic protocols.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client questions, scheduling follow-up appointments, and fostering a positive experience.

Requirements

• Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification to practice professionally.
• Proven experience in patient service with strong skills in patient assessment and customized treatment planning.
• Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques.
• Solid understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy.
• Prior experience working in a med spa or occupational health setting is highly desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with diverse clients.

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
