Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy and medical massage tailored to individual client needs
• Conduct thorough client assessments to understand their health history, symptoms, and specific concerns
• Educate clients on treatment options, benefits, and self-care practices to support ongoing wellness
• Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, client progress, and any relevant medical information using professional terminology
• Ensure client comfort and safety throughout each session by adhering to proper hygiene standards and safety protocols such as CPR certification requirements
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or occupational health specialists when necessary for comprehensive care plans
• Deliver exceptional customer service by actively listening, communicating clearly, and fostering a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of physiology and human anatomy to accurately assess patient needs and tailor treatments accordingly
• Proven experience in pain management techniques and patient assessment skills
• Strong customer service orientation with excellent client communication abilities
• Proficiency in various massage modalities including Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage
• Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to therapeutic practices and occupational health settings
• Valid licensure as a Massage Therapist in accordance with state regulations; CPR certification preferred
• Prior experience working in med spa environments or with clients requiring specialized pain relief treatments is advantageous

Pay: $30.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 22.0 – 40.0 per week
