Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments to address clients’ specific concerns.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on individual health history and goals.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, explain treatment procedures, and provide guidance for ongoing wellness.
• Maintain detailed records of each session, including treatment notes and client progress, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
• Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and relevant medical terminology to deliver high-quality care.
• Ensure a safe environment by adhering to all health and safety regulations, including CPR certification requirements.
• Promote a positive client experience through excellent customer service, active listening, and professional demeanor.

Requirements

• Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification.
• Proven experience in massage therapy with proficiency in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical or occupational health treatments.
• Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to accurately assess client needs and tailor treatments accordingly.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their concerns.
• Ability to perform patient assessments and develop customized treatment plans that promote pain management and overall wellness.
• Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to massage therapy practices.
• CPR certification is required to ensure client safety during all sessions.
• Prior experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: Up to $47.50 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 – 35.0 per week
