Licensed Massage Therapist

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage tailored to individual client needs.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and ensure safe, effective therapy sessions.
• Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend ongoing wellness strategies to support their health goals.
• Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, patient progress, and any relevant medical information using proper medical terminology.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to sanitation standards and occupational health guidelines.
• Communicate clearly with clients about their comfort levels, treatment expectations, and answer any questions regarding their therapy.
• Stay current with industry best practices by participating in continuing education opportunities related to physiology knowledge, pain management techniques, and med spa trends.

Experience

• Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification.
• Proven experience in providing diverse massage therapies such as Swedish massage, deep tissue, sports massage, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and medical massage.
• Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology to accurately assess patient needs and deliver targeted treatments.
• Prior experience working in a med spa or healthcare setting is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of medical terminology related to pain management and occupational health practices.
• CPR certification is required to ensure safety during all client interactions.
• Excellent client communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence and building lasting client relationships.

Pay: $40.00 - $44.59 per hour
