At Active Bodyworx, we believe massage is a necessity for maintaining an active, healthy life. We’re looking for a licensed massage therapist who shares our commitment to thoughtful, personalized care and wants to build lasting relationships with clients.

Our clientele includes athletes, cyclists, runners, fitness enthusiasts, and people seeking relief from persistent muscular tension and discomfort. They value therapists who listen, understand their goals, and tailor each session to their needs.

About our approach

Founded by a massage therapist with more than 25 years of experience in sports and clinical massage, Active Bodyworx combines therapeutic bodywork with recovery technologies. Our work emphasizes soft tissue techniques that support alignment, mobility, recovery, and everyday function.

Our facility includes six massage rooms and a Recovery Room featuring infrared sauna, cold plunge, red light therapy, compression therapy, and a BEMER mat. We also incorporate Moti Physio postural assessments to help inform personalized sessions and track changes over time.

What you’ll do

• Review client intake information, goals, and relevant precautions before each session.
• Deliver personalized massage within your training and scope of practice.
• Use techniques such as deep tissue, sports massage, myofascial work, stretching, cupping, and scraping when appropriately trained.
• Maintain clear session notes and communicate relevant information to support continuity of care.
• Offer practical self-care guidance within your scope.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming treatment space and contribute to shared studio responsibilities.
• Help clients feel heard, comfortable, and supported throughout their experience.

Qualifications

• Current, active Arizona massage therapy license.
• Professional liability insurance.
• Strong therapeutic massage skills and sound professional judgment.
• Excellent communication, boundaries, and client service.
• Experience in therapeutic, sports, or clinical massage preferred.
• Additional training in myofascial techniques, assisted stretching, cupping, or instrument-assisted soft tissue work is a plus.

Compensation: 35-50 per 60 min appointment plus tips
