Please note: Availability to work both Fridays and Saturdays is a mandatory requirement for this position. Applicants must be able to consistently commit to both days.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional massage therapy services in accordance with client needs, preferences, and treatment goals.
• Conduct client consultations and assess areas of tension, discomfort, and individual preferences before each session.
• Customize massage techniques and pressure to provide a safe, comfortable, and effective experience.
• Maintain professional boundaries and ensure client comfort, privacy, and confidentiality at all times.
• Follow all applicable sanitation, safety, licensing, and professional practice requirements.
• Maintain accurate client records and treatment notes as required.
• Communicate professionally with clients, management, and other team members.
• Arrive on time, remain dependable, and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Support a positive client experience by creating a calm, relaxing, and inviting atmosphere.
• Follow scheduling procedures and communicate any appointment changes or scheduling concerns promptly.
• Maintain current knowledge of massage therapy techniques, best practices, and continuing education requirements.

Qualifications

• Current, valid massage therapy license in the state where services are provided.
• Demonstrated knowledge of massage therapy techniques, anatomy, physiology, and contraindications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service skills and a client-first mindset.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and protect confidential client information.
• Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and organization.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently while contributing to a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical requirements of massage therapy, with reasonable accommodation as applicable.
• Availability to work both Fridays and Saturdays on a consistent basis is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a spa, wellness center, massage studio, or similar setting.
• Experience tailoring massage sessions to individual client needs.
• A passion for wellness, relaxation, and helping clients feel their best.

Pay: $30.00 - $65.00 per hour
