Duties

• Lead and motivate the salon team to achieve sales targets and deliver top-tier customer service
• Manage daily operations including scheduling, shift management, and ensuring smooth workflow
• Oversee inventory control, purchasing, stock replenishment, and product merchandising
• Handle POS (Point of Sale) system management
• Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions, and performance evaluations
• Recruit new talent through interviewing and onboarding processes while fostering a positive team environment
• Maintain store standards by supervising cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety protocols

Requirements

• Valid licensed manicurist or salon manager certification in accordance with state regulations
• Proven management experience within the nail industry, including supervising teams and managing operations
• Strong skills in negotiation, sales management, and retail math for budgeting and pricing strategies
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively across multiple functions
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse clientele
• Experience with POS systems, inventory management software, and operational procedures
• Demonstrated ability in recruiting, training staff, and developing high-performing teams
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in bookkeeping, payroll, and inventory control
• Customer service expertise with phone etiquette and retail sales experience
• Knowledge of retail industry sales team management practices and retail store product knowledge
• Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of professionalism
