Licensed Nail Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and personable Nail Technician to join our beauty team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, and advanced nail treatments, while delivering outstanding customer service in a professional and sanitized environment. Duties

• Perform a variety of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and attention to detail
• Apply color theory principles to create customized nail designs that suit client preferences
• Maintain strict sanitation and sterilization protocols to ensure client safety and hygiene standards are met
• Offer additional beauty services including eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair extensions, hair styling, and esthetic laser treatments when qualified
• Provide excellent customer service by understanding client needs, offering product recommendations, and upselling retail products effectively
• Manage retail sales by promoting nail care products and other beauty items to enhance client experience and salon revenue
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies for efficient service delivery
• Stay updated on current nail trends, techniques, and industry best practices through ongoing education

Experience

• Proven experience as a Nail Technician or similar role within a salon or spa environment
• Knowledge of color theory, nail care techniques, sanitation standards, and current beauty trends
• Certifications in nail licensing as required by state regulations
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with clients and understand their aesthetic goals
• Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining excellent customer service skills
• Familiarity with retail math for effective sales management
