Licensed P&C Insurance Manager

Job Overview

The Licensed Insurance Manager will oversee and support the daily operations of the agency while helping drive sales, retention, customer satisfaction, and team performance.

The ideal candidate is an experienced insurance professional who is confident working with clients and employees, understands P&C and Life insurance products, and can take ownership of agency goals and results.

Salary Range: $75,000.00 per year

Requirements

• Active New York P&C and Life Insurance License – REQUIRED
• Insurance agency experience
• Management or leadership experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of Auto and Homeowners insurance
• Sales and customer-service driven
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to coach, motivate, and hold a team accountable
• Self-motivated, dependable, and results-oriented

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily insurance agency operations

• Lead, coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable to performance goals

• Monitor sales, service, retention, and agency performance metrics

• Develop strategies to increase new business and grow existing accounts

• Assist team members with complex customer and insurance situations

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients

• Identify cross-selling and opportunities

• Help improve customer retention and reduce policy cancellations

• Ensure accurate and timely processing of policy changes, quotes, renewals, and other transactions

• Monitor team workflows and ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently

• Handle escalated customer concerns professionally and effectively

• Ensure compliance with insurance regulations, company procedures, and agency standards

• Participate in recruiting, training, onboarding, and ongoing development of team members

• Lead by example and contribute to a positive, professional team environment
