Licensed Pharmacist

About the role

Stoxx Enterprises Corporation is seeking a Licensed Pharmacist to join our pharmacy operations in Metro Manila on a full-time basis. This is a critical position within our healthcare services, where you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications whilst maintaining the highest standards of patient care and regulatory compliance. As a Licensed Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in our commitment to delivering quality pharmaceutical services and contributing to the overall health and wellbeing of our patients and community.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately and safely, verifying prescriptions for accuracy, dosage appropriateness, and potential drug interactions
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient medication records and counselling documentation
• Provide professional pharmaceutical advice and counselling to patients regarding medication usage, potential side effects, and storage requirements
• Manage pharmacy inventory, including stock control, ordering, receiving and organisation of medications and pharmaceutical supplies
• Ensure compliance with all relevant pharmaceutical regulations, legislation and professional standards
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to optimise patient medication therapy
• Perform quality assurance checks and implement proper sanitation and safety protocols in the pharmacy setting
• Handle controlled substances in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements
• Mentor and supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff as required
• Maintain detailed records of all pharmaceutical transactions and communications

What we're looking for

• Registered Licensed Pharmacist

• Proven experience working as a Licensed Pharmacist in a retail, hospital or clinical pharmacy setting

• In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical products, interactions, contraindications and therapeutic uses

• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations, controlled substance laws and healthcare compliance requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively counsel and educate patients

• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all pharmacy operations

• Proficiency in pharmacy management software and information systems

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently

• Professional integrity and commitment to ethical pharmaceutical practice

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including potential weekend and holiday shifts as required
