We are currently seeking a qualified and dedicated Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to join our team. This is a critical role under RA 10918, FDA, DOLE, and DOH guidelines. The PIC will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance in all aspects of pharmaceutical operations and ensuring adherence to high standards of practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable FDA, DOH, and PDEA regulations, including licensing, inspections, and reporting.
• Supervision: Oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring that all processes are aligned with industry standards.
• Documentation/Reporting: Responsible for accurate and timely submission of required reports (e.g., EDPMS, Bioref, Room Temperature Logs), and overseeing records for regulatory bodies.
• FDA/DOH/LGU Inspections: Prepare for and manage inspections, ensuring readiness and compliance at all times.
• Pharmacy Operations: Monitor inventory, including special handling for senior citizens, PWD, and biological items. Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) stock rotation, temperature monitoring, and shelf life management.
• Staff Supervision & Training: Supervise pharmacy staff and provide training on best practices in product knowledge, customer service, and compliance.
• Pharmacy Licensing: Manage the application and renewal of pharmacy licenses as per the requirements of the FDA, DOH, and PDEA.

Qualifications:

• Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (Must be licensed and familiar with FDA, PDEA, and other government regulations).
  • Current PRC License registration is required at the time of application.

• Professional Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of FDA and PDEA compliance.
  • Familiarity with EDPMS, Bioref, and Room Temperature logbooks preferred.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and professional standards within the pharmaceutical field.

• Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong decision-making and judgment skills within regulatory and policy guidelines.
  • Computer literacy (Basic computer skills required; familiarity with pharmacy software a plus).
  • Ability to exercise professionalism under pressure, especially during inspections or audits.
  • Ability to train and guide staff on operational processes, product knowledge, and customer interaction.

• Experience:

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply! Experience with EDPMS and Bioref systems is an advantage but not required.
