Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties

• Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs, including manual therapy and trigger point therapy.
• Conduct clinical assessments and document patient progress accurately in accordance with clinical documentation standards and medical documentation protocols.
• Operate medical equipment safely and effectively during therapy sessions, ensuring proper use and maintenance
• Maintain comprehensive electronic health records (EHR) management by documenting treatment details, progress notes, and clinical assessments clearly and promptly.
• Educate patients and caregivers on physiotherapy exercises, injury prevention strategies, and post-discharge care plans to promote recovery and independence.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and related medical terminology.
• Proficiency in physical therapy treatment implementation techniques such as manual therapy, trigger point therapy, and other physiotherapy modalities.
• Experience with clinical assessment documentation standards and accurate medical documentation practices.
• Ability to operate medical equipment used in physical therapy sessions safely and effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients of all ages—including pediatric patients—and caregivers with clarity and compassion

Pay: $40.00 - $44.00 per hour
