Physical Therapist Assistant

Duties:

• Assist the physical therapist in providing treatment to patients with various musculoskeletal conditions and injuries
• Implement therapeutic exercises and activities under the guidance of the physical therapist
• Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions
• Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and activities to improve their condition
• Assist with the setup and maintenance of therapy equipment and supplies
• Collaborate with the physical therapist to develop individualized treatment plans for each patient
• Communicate with patients and their families regarding treatment goals and progress

Experience:

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program from an accredited institution
• Valid state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Previous experience working in an occupational health setting is preferred, but not required
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team

Pay: $60,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
