Job Summary

Duties

• Administer medications and injections accurately following physician orders and established protocols, and medication management.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments by monitoring vital signs, performing physical examinations, and evaluating physiological responses to treatment.
• Document patient care activities thoroughly using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Epic or Cerner, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Coordinate patient care and follow-up
• Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards

Requirements

• Valid state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with current certification to practice in the relevant healthcare setting.
• BLS certification
• Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems for accurate medical documentation.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding and CPT coding.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams and educate patients about their care plans. Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
