About the Position

We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our medical practice. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment, providing excellent patient care, and communicating effectively with both patients and the medical team.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare them for their appointments
• Obtain and document accurate vital signs
• Review and update patient information as needed
• Perform blood draws and other routine clinical tasks
• Administer IV infusions when needed and as directed by the provider
• Monitor patients during infusions and report any concerns promptly
• Answer incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
• Take accurate, thorough, and detailed phone messages/telephone notes
• Communicate patient concerns and messages appropriately to providers and clinical staff
• Assist providers with patient care and office procedures
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Follow infection-control and patient-safety procedures
• Provide a positive, professional experience for every patient
• Perform other clinical and administrative duties as needed

Qualifications

• Current, active LPN license
• Strong phlebotomy skills preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to document phone messages accurately and relay important information clearly
• Professional, friendly, and compassionate bedside manner
• Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
