Licensed Practical Nurse

WJCS is seeking a compassionate, bilingual Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) in Yonkers. Responsibilities

As a member of our multidisciplinary team, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting vital signs and general health monitoring
• Screening for psychiatric, substance use, and medical concerns
• Administering injectable medications
• Managing medication refills and prior authorizations
• Coordinating with pharmacies, providers, and primary care physicians
• Maintaining accurate electronic health records and lab documentation
• Supporting telepsychiatry and psychiatric scheduling
• Conducting urine drug screens and breathalyzer testing
• Assisting clients with referrals and continuity of care
• Maintaining nursing and medical supplies

Qualifications

We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications:

• Bilingual fluency in English & Spanish
• Current New York State LPN license
• Experience working in mental health, behavioral health, or psychiatric settings preferred
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Comfort conducting observed urine testing
• Ability to use electronic health record systems and related technology
• Ability to travel to assigned clinic locations, as needed
• NYSED Infection Control certification (or qualifying exemption)
