Licensed Practical Nurse

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various settings, including long-term care facilities and internal medicine practices. The LPN will work closely with registered nurses and physicians to ensure the best outcomes for our patients while adhering to established protocols and standards.

Duties

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Perform routine assessments and monitor patient vital signs.
• Assist in diagnostic evaluations and provide support during procedures.
• Utilize aseptic techniques when performing clinical tasks.
• Conduct phlebotomy procedures as required for laboratory tests.
• Provide care to patients with behavioral health needs, ensuring a supportive environment.
• Participate in patient education regarding treatment plans and health management.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records, including eClinicalWorks.
• Assist with botulinum toxin treatments under the supervision of qualified professionals.
• Lift and transport patients as necessary, ensuring their comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in the state of practice.
• Experience in long-term care or internal medicine preferred.
• Proficiency in sonography is a plus but not required.
• Strong understanding of diagnostic evaluation processes.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting patients and standing for extended periods.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly eClinicalWorks, is advantageous.
