Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians or physician's assistants.
• Observe and record patients' conditions, vital signs and behaviors.
• Identify and report changes in patients' conditions to physicians or physician's assistants.
• Monitor and supervise patients with chronic illnesses, like diabetes and high blood pressure.
• Educate patients about treatments and medications and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
• Answer patients' questions, address concerns, and provide necessary information about hospital routines and services in order to reduce anxiety.
• Help transport nonambulatory patients to x-ray labs, operating rooms, clinics, diagnostic laboratories etc., using equipment like stretchers, wheelchairs etc.
• Preauthorizations
• Referral Follow ups

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
