Licensed Practical Nurse

Introduction:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team and provide high quality care to our patients. The Licensed Practical Nurse will assess patients health needs, develop and implement care plans, and provide ongoing support and monitoring to ensure that patients receive the best possible care. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. CPR certification is required for this role. This is a part-time position.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients health needs and develop and implement care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patients vital signs and report any changes to the appropriate staff member
• Communicate with patients and families to provide education and support
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment
• Document patients progress and outcomes using electronic medical records
• Stay up to date with current research and best practices in nursing
• Participate in professional development opportunities to maintain and improve skills
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Licensed Practical Nursing
• Current state license as an LPN
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an LPN
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
