Licensed Practical Nurse

Brunswick Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. In this role, you will provide direct nursing care, health monitoring, and education while collaborating closely with program staff, families, and residential providers to ensure the well-being of the people in our day program.

Summary

• Monitor the general wellness and healthcare status of individuals on caseload; communicate with staff, families, and residences to gather relevant medical information
• Perform medical monitoring such as weight and blood pressure checks, medication evaluation, and lab work preparation as directed by each person's physician
• Provide direct nursing support including first aid, medication administration, and health education/counseling (e.g., dietary guidance)
• Conduct nutrition assessments and develop corrective strategies as part of the annual review process

Requirements:

• LPN license with one year full experience.
• Must have valid drivers license and ability to lift in excess of 50 lbs.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm. (40 hrs/week)

Salary: starts at $24.76
