Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an immediate-start contract opportunity in Brenham, TX.

The LVN/LPN will provide nursing care in a residential healthcare setting serving approximately 260 residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). We are looking for a compassionate, dependable nurse committed to providing quality, person-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and support to residents in a residential healthcare setting.
• Assist with medical and habilitative needs.
• Support residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs.
• Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes in health status appropriately.
• Follow established care plans, nursing protocols, and facility procedures.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Promote resident safety, dignity, and well-being.

Requirements

• Active Texas LVN/LPN license.
• Previous nursing experience required.
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.
• Ability to provide compassionate, person-centered care.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team.
• Reliable and dependable, with the ability to commit to a full-time contract assignment.
