Licensed Practical Nurse - Full-Time

Role: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) responsible for assisting in nursing services under RN supervision, delegating tasks, monitoring patient conditions, and notifying physicians of emergencies or changes.

Key Duties

• Assist in directing nursing care for a specific unit or hall.
• Delegate duties to nursing staff and monitor their performance.
• Observe patients for physical or mental changes indicating adverse reactions.
• Notify physicians of emergencies or patient status changes and implement physician orders.
• Perform additional assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma and graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Valid LPN license from the licensing board, with renewal proof every other year.
• Willingness to serve as charge nurse and work during emergencies for coverage.
• Ability to deliver quality nursing care, follow medical orders, and demonstrate interest in geriatric nursing.
• CPR certification renewed annually.
• Participation in in-service training and staff meetings.
