Licensed Practical Nurse (Full-Time, Day/Evening split)

Schedule: Day/Evening split, 4 on, 2 off 0700-1500/1500-2300
Compensation: $33.83 - $41.35 per hour (based on experience), plus benefits; vision and dental care.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nursing care to residents, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and contribute to a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist in developing and implementing individualized care plans.
• Monitor residents' health status and report any changes to the nursing team.
• Educate residents and their families on health management and wellness.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to enhance resident care.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and BC health regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid LPN license in British Columbia (BCCN&M Registration) required.
• Previous 1 year minimum of experience.
• Current CPR / First Aid Certification.
• Proficiency in MDS, PCC, wound management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
