Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (In Home Care | Single Client | Evening Shifts)
Location: Detroit, MI
Hours: 28 hrs/wk
Job Type: Evening Shifts (Everyday 6-10p)

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide evening in-home care for a male client located on the west side of Detroit, MI.

This is a consistent PM shift, every day from 6:00 PM–10:00 PM, providing an excellent opportunity for an LPN looking for a dependable evening schedule. The client requires assistance with bedtime routine, activities of daily living (ADLs), medication administration, and utilizes a hoyer lift.

Schedule: 28 hours/week - Every day, 6:00 PM–10:00 PM - Consistent evening hours!

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate one-on-one nursing care in the client's home
• Assist with ADLs and personal care for bedtime care as needed
• Administer/pass medications according to the established care plan and orders
• Assist with safe transfers using a Hoyer lift
• Monitor and report changes in the client's condition
• Provide support with mobility and positioning
• Maintain accurate documentation as required
• Communicate professionally with the client, family, and care team
• Follow all applicable care plans, safety procedures, and nursing protocols

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old
• Must have current, active LPN license and First Aid/CPR Certificate
• Must have own transportation and valid driver's license
• Able to pass a background check
• Reliable and dependable
• Comfortable providing care in a private-home setting
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to care
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Must be punctual, respectful, and able to maintain a calm, positive presence
