Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (32541)

Position purpose Responsible for providing medical assistance to practice physicians and patients.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Room patients
• Take patient vitals, record vitals and medical information in EMR
• Assist physicians as needed
• Write prescriptions, as directed by physicians
• Phone triage, as needed
• Clean patient exam rooms and prepare for next patient
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications Qualifications Education: Associates degree in nursing. Active and valid LVN license.

Experience: 2-5 years of prior LVN experience is preferred. Prior GI or Internal Medicine experience is a plus.

Requirements For PRN Status

• PRN employees must not work more than 29 hours per week or 1000 hours per year.
• PRN employees must not work a reoccurring schedule.
