Day in the Life / Expectations as an LPN

As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Norridge Gardens, you will play an important role in providing quality nursing care and supporting the overall well-being of our residents. Responsibilities include:

• Providing compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents
• Assessing residents and monitoring changes in their condition
• Complying with applicable state and federal regulations
• Working collaboratively with members of the healthcare team
• Serving as a primary coordinator among disciplines to ensure well-coordinated resident care
• Communicating effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
• Assisting with and coordinating resident discharge planning needs
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Illinois
• Current CPR certification
• Reliable transportation
• Must be a self-starter who can work independently and efficiently
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Compassionate and resident-focused approach to care
• Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
• Commitment to providing quality care to residents
